Mr. Wan Jemizan W.Deraman

Wan Jemizan W. Deraman is currently the Head/Vice President of Shariah & Business Advisory of Takaful Ikhlas Family Bhd. He also serves as the Secretary to the Group Shariah Committee of MNRB Holdings Berhad and a member of MTA’s Shariah Sub Committee. Additionally, he holds the Chartered Professional in Islamic Finance (CPIF), and Certified Islamic Financial Planning IBFIM/FPAM (IFP).

Before joining Takaful Ikhlas, he was the Manager of Shariah Compliance Department of Takaful Malaysia. Prior to that he was in the Training and Education Department of Islamic Banking and Finance Institute Malaysia (IBFIM), a member of IBFIM Shariah Committee and a Shariah Advisor for Islamic Unit Trust Funds. He was also a lecturer for Islamic Studies, History and Islamic Civilization, Arabic Language at College of Islamic Banking and Finance a subsidiary company of BIMB Holding Berhad. Prior to joining IBFIM he Wan Jemizan W. Deraman was a Religious Affairs Officer at Jurutera Perunding ZAABA Sdn Bhd.
